 Dano McCarthy, Buyer for Belle Roche Estate Jewelry Buyers, also a native San Diegan, has been in the jewelry business for over 25 years as well. He has been a buyer of estate jewelry and watches for most of that time.  He has extensive experience in particular with fine Swiss watches such as Rolex, Cartier and Patek Philippe.

About Us

Judy Scheuer, owner of Belle Roche Estate Jewelry Buyers, has been in the jewelry business for over 25 years.  A native San Diegan, she got her start in an estate jewelry buying shop in 1987 as an assistant to the owner.  She has worked in various aspects of the jewelry business ever since, as manager of several estate jewelry retail stores and a wholesale diamond company.  Through the years her favorite job was buying from the public, and her goal was to open her own business doing this.  She did so in 2006, establishing Belle Roche Estate Jewelry Buyers,  a business that caters to the "selling public".
 "In other places I worked, the public had to come in to the shop and stand at a counter with other prying eyes over their shoulder," says Judy.  "I wanted to create an environment where an individual could come and sit in a private and comfortable office away from other customers.  Often the person has a sensitive situation when they are selling personal valuables. Someone could be going through a divorce, a broken engagement, financial troubles or have experienced a death in the family, or some other intensely personal circumstance.  In a private setting such as the one I have set up, a person.ealing with such difficulties may feel more at ease and safe."
